Phi Theta Kappa All-States Academic Team Scholarship

The Phi Theta Kappa All-States Academic Team Scholarship is awarded to entering community college transfer students who meet the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship criteria and have been named to the Phi Theta Kappa All-Academic Team for a state other than Mississippi. This scholarship specifically recognizes outstanding academic achievement among transfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The scholarship has two award tiers based on team level. First Team recipients receive a $2,000 one-year award, while Second Team recipients receive a $1,000 one-year award. Both awards are disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at Mississippi State University. To be eligible, students must be entering transfer students with a minimum overall transferable GPA of 3.25 and at least 48 transferable hours as computed by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Students must be non-residents and members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. The award may be stacked with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, providing additional financial support for qualified transfer students. Applicants must submit both the General Scholarship Application and the specific Phi Theta Kappa All-States Academic Team Scholarship Application through the scholarship portal. As verification, students must upload a copy of their All-Academic Team certificate as part of the application process.
