About This Opportunity

The Phi Theta Kappa Chapter President Scholarship is awarded to entering community college transfer students who meet the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship criteria and have been named President of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at their community college. This scholarship provides $2,000 over two years ($1,000 per year) to support students transferring to Mississippi State University. The scholarship is renewable for up to two years (four semesters) provided the student maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours per semester at MSU. Applicants must be members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, have a minimum overall transferable GPA of 3.25, and have completed at least 48 transferable hours as computed by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The award may be stacked with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship but not with the Phi Theta Kappa Officer Scholarship.
