About this opportunity
The Phi Theta Kappa Officer Scholarship is awarded to entering community college transfer students who meet the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship criteria and have served as an officer of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at their community college. This is a one-year award providing $1,000 in financial support, disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at Mississippi State University. The scholarship recognizes and supports transfer students who have demonstrated leadership within the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at their previous institution. Students must have a minimum overall transferable GPA of 3.25 and at least 48 transferable credit hours as computed by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This award may be stacked with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship but not with the Phi Theta Kappa Chapter President Scholarship.
