About This Opportunity

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is awarded to entering transfer students at Mississippi State University who are members of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement among community college transfer students with two award tiers based on transferable GPA. Students with a 3.25-3.49 GPA receive $5,000 over five semesters ($1,000 per semester), while students with a 3.50+ GPA receive $10,000 over five semesters ($2,000 per semester). The scholarship is renewable for up to 5 semesters provided the student maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment of at least 12 credit hours per semester at MSU. This award is specifically designed for transfer students and is not available to first-time entering freshmen.
