Phil Allen Memorial Scholarship

The Phil Allen Memorial Scholarship was established in 2016 by the School of Business Classes of 2007 & 2008 to honor Phil Allen's legacy. This scholarship supports full-time students who are in their second or subsequent year of studies in any Business Administration program at the Lloydminster campus of Lakeland College. The award is specifically designed for student-athletes who demonstrate both academic achievement and athletic commitment. Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic standing while being current members of a Rustlers sports team, with preference given to basketball players. The scholarship recognizes students who exemplify leadership qualities both on and off the court. This memorial scholarship was created by alumni Preston Parsons, Delia Morgan-Tetz, Kristine Knourek, Kagan Kneen, Kelly Tobler, and Leanne Hawes to support the next generation of business students at Lakeland College who embody the values of academic achievement, athletic participation, and leadership that Phil Allen represented.
