Philip Chui East Asia Scholarship

The Philip Chui East Asia Scholarship is a foundation scholarship offered by Federation University Australia to support Chinese National students studying at the Berwick campus. The scholarship provides $1,000 in financial support and is available for both continuing and new/commencing students. The scholarship is named after Kai-Sing (Philip) Chui, JP, a prominent community leader from Nanhai Province in China who immigrated to Australia in 1985 and has served the Victorian community through various business, media, and cultural organizations for over 30 years. Philip has been instrumental in bridging Australia and China through cultural, educational, and commercial exchanges, and his motto is drawn from Confucian philosophy: 'Build of Self, Family, Country and the World.' The scholarship reflects his commitment to education and supporting students from East Asia to pursue higher education in Australia.
