About this opportunity
The Philip MacIntyre Memorial Scholarship in Nursing is awarded to academically outstanding Masters students in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria who have an interest in palliative care nursing. One or more scholarships are available annually with amounts that vary. The scholarship is designed to recognize and support graduate students pursuing advanced studies in nursing with a focus on palliative care. Recipients are selected based on academic excellence, requiring normally a minimum A- average, along with additional criteria established by the donor. Awards are assigned through nominations from eligible academic units, with approval made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the School of Nursing. No application is required, as recipients are nominated by the School of Nursing.
