About this opportunity
Established in 2021 by Phillips Lytle LLP in order to promote inclusive excellence, this fund was created to remove barriers to access and advancement on the basis of factors such as, but not limited to race, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or veteran status for students in the School of Law. The scholarship provides financial support to School of Law students from historically underrepresented groups who demonstrate academic excellence. Selection for the program includes a $10,000 scholarship toward a UB Law student's second year of law school tuition, a mentor from Phillips Lytle assigned in June after completion of the first year, and a summer associate position at Phillips Lytle after completion of the second year. This opportunity is designed to support diverse students pursuing legal education at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
