PH&N Institutional Graduate Scholarship for Research in Environmental and Resource Economics

One or more scholarships are awarded to outstanding Master's or Doctoral students who are pursuing a thesis or extended essay in environmental and resource economics at the University of Victoria. The scholarship supports graduate students conducting research focused on environmental and resource economics topics. Approval of the recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee based on nominations from eligible academic units. This is a merit-based award recognizing academic excellence in the field of environmental and resource economics. The scholarship does not require a separate application as awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units. Recipients must be full-time graduate students and normally meet a minimum requirement of an A- average along with any additional criteria established by the donor.
