Physics Alumni Award

The Physics Alumni Award is an entrance bursary established by University of Waterloo alumni to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in Year One of the Faculty of Science who are interested in majoring in Physics. One or more awards, valued at up to $4,000 each, may be awarded annually. Selection is based on academic excellence and financial need as determined by the University of Waterloo. This award supports incoming undergraduate students as they begin their studies in physics, helping to reduce financial barriers to higher education in the physical sciences. Interested students must apply for the University of Waterloo Entrance Bursary through the awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo application portal. The application is limited to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time.
