About this opportunity
Pitch Pots provides funding support to Film Hub Scotland members to enhance their film programming with impactful one-off events and special initiatives. The fund offers up to £1,000 for projects that help widen audiences and enhance programmes, including activities such as commissioning descriptive subtitles for screenings, marketing campaigns to support new seasons, or bringing in guest speakers for Q&As and introductions.
Applications should address one or more of the priority areas outlined in BFI's Screen Culture 2033 strategy, including engaging with children and young people, accessing a wider choice of film, tackling social, economic and geographic barriers, and engaging with heritage collections that reflect the diversity of the UK.
The fund operates on a rolling basis until March 2026, though it is currently closed for 2025/26 applications. Film Hub Scotland provides support through one-to-one funding surgeries to help applicants develop their proposals, and the BFI offers an Access Support Fund to assist with application completion.
