Plasmafysikfonden

The Plasmafysikfonden provides support for international Chalmers Symposia and for guest visits by internationally established researchers at Chalmers, within the field of plasma physics. According to the statutes, the fund aims to benefit the scientific development in the field of plasma physics and its applications, for example by organizing international symposia at Chalmers. The fund is open for rolling applications throughout the year and applications are handled as they come in. Applicants must be permanently employed with an academic position at Chalmers University of Technology. Support ranges from 50,000 to 150,000 SEK, though larger amounts can be granted for organizing international conferences or similar events if the application is found relevant to the fund. Applications must include a personal letter with a brief description and justification for the purpose of the application, information about the applicant's department and research group, and the requested amount with a detailed cost estimate. Each person may submit a maximum of one application per year.
