Plitt Prize in Mineral Process Engineering

The Plitt Prize in Mineral Process Engineering is awarded to a student enrolled in Mining or Materials Engineering who demonstrates superior academic achievement in CME 421 (Mineral Processing). This award was endowed by Professor L R Plitt, who taught mineral processing at the University of Alberta for over 30 years, and his wife Mrs Carole Plitt. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
