Police Community Trust General Fund

The Police Community Trust General Fund provides grants of up to £1,000 to community and other local voluntary organisations in the Avon and Somerset police force area, covering Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), North Somerset, Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. The fund supports projects that address key community safety priorities including protecting local people and property from crime, reducing anti-social behaviour, educating young people on the dangers of drug, alcohol and solvent abuse, and increasing community safety for vulnerable populations. The Trust particularly focuses on diverting young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour, encouraging their growth into responsible young adults, and building good community relations. Trustees meet quarterly to review applications, with meetings typically held in April, July, October and January.
