About This Opportunity

The Jersey Police Dependants' Fund was established in 1982 with an initial donation from the Butlin Family Charity Trust. The Jersey Community Foundation took over management of the Trust in 2023. The Fund provides financial assistance to those in need within specific eligible categories related to police service in Jersey. The Fund aims to provide financial assistance to police officers (paid or honorary), dependants of police officers or deceased police officers, persons who sustained an injury while rendering assistance to a police officer acting in the execution of their duty, and dependants of such persons. Applications for funding can be made at any time, and money from the fund is distributed quickly and efficiently to help those in need. A robust and dedicated panel consisting of people with diverse backgrounds is responsible for contributing their expertise and reviewing applications. The fund currently stands at approximately £52,000 and is one of JCF's restricted Themed Funds. The fund may be added to at any time with donations from the public.
