About this opportunity
The Political Science Graduate Scholarship provides financial support to graduate students in the Department of Political Science at the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Arts. Scholarships are valued at up to $2,500 and are awarded annually to full-time graduate students. Selection is based on academic excellence, with a minimum cumulative average of 80% required at the time of admission to the program. The Department of Political Science Admission Committee identifies eligible candidates and selects recipients normally during the Spring term, with awards made available to recipients in the Fall term. The value and number of awards may vary from year to year depending on available funds, with a minimum value of $500 and a maximum value of $2,500. Students are selected automatically by the department and do not need to apply separately. The scholarship is open to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students with study permits who are enrolled full-time at the Master's or Doctoral level in Political Science.
