Political Science Outstanding Senior Scholarship

The Political Science Outstanding Senior Scholarship is awarded to outstanding senior students majoring in Political Science at Eastern Illinois University. Recipients must be nominated by a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and demonstrate academic excellence with a Political Science GPA of 3.5 or higher. The scholarship recognizes exceptional students who have completed at least 90 semester hours but have not yet received their BA from EIU. Applications require submission of two papers from different Political Science courses, an application form, and a letter of nomination from the faculty sponsor. The award is disbursed in the Spring semester and provides financial support to help students complete their undergraduate degree in Political Science.
