Port Community Fund

The Port Community Fund (PCF) is a unique coming together of local shipping and transport businesses to support charities and good causes. Founded in 2008, the PCF enables these businesses to create a joint approach to fundraising, pooling their funds to have a greater pot from which to support local causes and build closer relations within the local community. The aim of the Port Community Fund is to support a wide range of grassroot Suffolk based charitable and community organisations supporting those that live and work in Felixstowe and The Trimleys, and areas of deprivation in Ipswich and Woodbridge. The Fund offers standard grants up to £2,000 to support local community issues and initiatives addressing priority needs. The main aim of the grant programme is to support local solutions to meet local needs, promote community cohesion, develop sustainable and supportive communities, tackle disadvantage, and promote health and wellbeing.
