Portátiles en Préstamo - Laptop Loan Program

The Social Council of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid provides laptops on loan to undergraduate, double degree, and master's students who lack the necessary computing resources to properly follow their coursework. This program was initially established during the 2020-2021 academic year to address the digital divide during the pandemic when the university adopted a hybrid teaching model. The Social Council continues this initiative to mitigate situations of inequality, prioritizing students with the lowest income levels and complementing other university actions. Laptops are provided on loan throughout the academic year 2025-2026, with applications accepted on a rolling basis starting August 29, 2025, while supplies last. The program also extends to refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals in vulnerable situations or similar socioeconomic circumstances.
