About this opportunity
The Freehorse Family Wellness Society (FFWS) Post-Secondary Funding Program assists eligible First Nations students from specific Alberta First Nations with continuing education. Administered on behalf of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), the program provides comprehensive financial support for post-secondary education including tuition coverage, books and supplies allowances, and monthly living allowances depending on program and registration status. Alberta residents (minimum 12 months residency) who are registered with Northwest Territories bands are also eligible. FFWS is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering programming and services that provide knowledge and enhance skills necessary for First Nations people to thrive in today's diverse and demanding world. The program operates on a deadline-based application system with specific deadlines for Fall/Winter, Winter Term, and Spring/Summer sessions.
