Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

The Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is available for students on Postgraduate Taught (PGT) courses at Brunel University of London who are self-funding their studies, paying Home fees and have obtained a First-Class undergraduate degree from a UK University or the equivalent of a UK First Class degree from an EU institution. The scholarship provides a 15% discount off tuition fees per year and is automatically awarded to all eligible applicants who meet the criteria. No separate application is required as eligibility is automatically assessed based on the information provided in the course application. The scholarship is available for full-time, part-time, distance learning, and online learning students pursuing taught Master's programmes, including MBA and MRes programmes. Brunel University of London graduates are also eligible for an additional Graduate Discount of 15% off the final tuition fee amount, which can be combined with this scholarship. The university offers an unlimited number of awards to all applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. The scholarship is designed for self-funding students, excluding those with employer or government sponsorship. Students must hold an unconditional offer for a course starting in 2026/27 and be classified as Home fee-paying students. The fee reduction is applied only to tuition fees and not to additional fees such as re-submission or resit fees. Awarded scholars can combine this scholarship with the Brunel Graduate Discount, Family Discount, 2% early payment discount, and MBA scholarship. The scholarship is withdrawn if misleading information is provided or if funding circumstances change during the programme, such as receiving late notification of employer or government sponsorship.
