Postgraduate Chancellor's Scholarship for India

The University of Birmingham Postgraduate Chancellor's Scholarship for India provides £10,000 awards towards tuition fees for the first year only of a full-time postgraduate masters programme starting September 2026. This scholarship is specifically designed for select Indian students applying for entry to a postgraduate programme at the University. The scholarships will be awarded based on the student's application, academic merit and Statement of Purpose. Recipients must have received an offer and selected Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time postgraduate programme starting September 2026. Students must be entering the first year of postgraduate programme based at Birmingham's UK campus, be classed as domiciled in India, and be classed as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes. Successful candidates will be notified by Friday 14th August 2026 at the latest and the scholarships will be awarded upon enrolment in September 2026.
