About this opportunity
The Postgraduate East Asia Scholarship at the University of Stirling supports international students from East Asia pursuing postgraduate taught degrees. The scholarship is open to full-time, on-campus, self-funding students who are living in mainland China, Hong Kong (SAR), Japan, Macau, South Korea, or Taiwan. The University has a long history of supporting international students to become global citizens and forge successful careers around the world. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee waiver, with the amount varying based on start date. For students starting in January 2026, the award is £7,000, while for those starting in September 2026 or January 2027, the value will be £5,000. Eligible students are automatically identified during the admissions process, and no separate application is required. The scholarship cannot be combined with other Stirling scholarships or awards, except for Sports Scholarships.
