Postgraduate Online Scholarship

The Postgraduate Online Scholarship is a coursework scholarship established in 2024 by the University of Sydney to encourage lifelong learning and skill development among domestic students who are completing a postgraduate masters level online degree. The scholarship offers $5,000 across the total credit points required for the relevant course, paid as an offset towards tuition fees after each relevant census date. The scholarship is available for domestic, full-fee paying students who have an unconditional offer of admission and enrol in one of four eligible online postgraduate programs: Master of Project and Program Management (Online), Master of Data Analytics (Online), Master of Data Science (Online), or Master of Cyber Security (Online). The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit by the Academic Director, Student Digital, Deputy Vice Chancellor Education. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 50 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to another school, faculty, or university. No separate application is required as the scholarship is automatically considered for eligible students with unconditional offers of admission.
