About this opportunity
This scholarship is designed to support students undertaking postgraduate research in Australian History to complete their thesis. It provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate for up to 6 months to help students reach thesis submission. The scholarship is available to both full-time and part-time students enrolled in a master's by research or PhD in History within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, feedback from an academic referee, a completion plan with key milestones, and a personal statement demonstrating how the fund will support their research and any disadvantage or hardship experienced. Preference is given to applicants who will submit their thesis within the next 6 months or those demonstrating financial hardship based on factors outside of their control.
