About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a Higher Degree by Research student who is undertaking research on the production of an Australian chemistry curriculum, in particular, rendering the Periodic Table in the language of the Gadi people. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 7 research periods for Master candidates or up to 12 research periods for PhD candidates. The scholarship is funded by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Strategy and Services), University of Sydney. Academic course fees are also provided for international recipients for the same number of research periods as the stipend, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The PhD recipient is encouraged to complete their PhD in 12 research periods but may apply for an extension for up to two research periods.
