About this opportunity

This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in disadvantage, sleep and mental health in a low and middle-income country (LIMC) setting, specifically Sri Lanka. The scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and supports full-time doctoral research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will be selected based on academic merit with background in epidemiology and/or biostatistics, demonstrated interest and experience in sleep and mental health epidemiology research in LIMC settings, and publication track record. The scholarship provides comprehensive support including a stipend allowance, leave provisions, and the opportunity to conduct research overseas as part of the doctoral study.
