About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research on the identification of potential drugs for the eradication of Varroa destructor mite to safeguard honeybees infected honeybees. The Scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and administered through the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will conduct full-time doctoral research focused on developing drug-based solutions to combat Varroa destructor mites, which pose a significant threat to honeybee populations.
