About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to one doctoral student undertaking research that will support the Australian Research Council's DP240100249 Teachers in Early Education project. The scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project in conjunction with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Sydney. The successful recipient must conduct research into early childhood education within the Sydney School of Education and Social Work. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time PhD study for up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Recipients must hold a master's degree in early childhood education and have at least three years of both research assistant experience and employment experience as an early childhood teacher. The scholarship aims to support research that addresses early childhood education workforce issues.
