About this opportunity

This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a Masters by Research student who is undertaking research in the evaluation of the Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion (GDIHP). The scholarship supports research into the impact of the Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion degree on the working lives of degree alumni. This research opportunity is funded by a MRFF (Medical Research Future Fund) Rapid Applied Research Translation Grant. The scholarship is specifically designed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students pursuing a Masters by Research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will conduct research that evaluates the real-world impact and outcomes of the GDIHP program on graduates' professional practice and careers in Indigenous health promotion.

Selection based on academic merit, confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity, and cover letter detailing interest in subject area. Selection committee consists of research supervisors, Faculty Research Education Director, Program Director or Course Coordinator, and an academic from Sydney School of Public Health.
