About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a Masters by Research or PhD student who is undertaking research in improving the management of hypertension in rural, regional and remote NSW. The scholarship is funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care (Federal - administered by NHMRC). The program aims to support research that addresses health equity challenges in rural and remote areas, with a focus on cardiovascular health and hypertension management. People who have an interest in rural health, health equity and/or quality improvement and those with experience working in the health system are highly encouraged to apply. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support through a stipend allowance and is available for both Masters by Research and PhD candidates at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health.
