About this opportunity
This scholarship provides financial assistance to a highly motivated PhD student to conduct pharmacy-related research at the University of Sydney. The recipient will join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and have the opportunity to study and contribute to health policy and outcomes research with a focus on quality use of medicines. Under the supervision of Professor Christine Lu, Chair of Clinical Pharmacy at Royal North Shore Hospital, the PhD student will perform and manage research projects from initial development through publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals. The scholarship is funded by a donation from Alek Safarian and offers financial support equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
