About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking clinical/health services research in Motor Neurone Disease (MND) that contributes to either improved healthcare delivery, improved care experiences, and/or improved quality of life for people living with MND. The Scholarship is funded by Equity Trustees Limited via The Jane Frances Hayes and Frederick Williams Hayes Charitable Trust, to be known as the 'Hayes Award'. This Scholarship is managed by Sydney Health Partners, a collaboration between five major health services, the University of Sydney, and 10 affiliated medical research institutes. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance for up to 3.5 years to support full-time PhD research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. Recipients must conduct research that directly benefits people living with Motor Neurone Disease through improved healthcare delivery, care experiences, or quality of life outcomes.
