About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD students within the School of Chemistry at Faculty of Science, University of Sydney. The scholarship is funded by a National Intelligence Discovery Grant through the Office of National Intelligence (ONI). The successful applicant will receive a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Applicants must be willing and able to undertake research involving chemical synthesis (solid-state, polymer and/or molecular), structural analysis, and physical property (especially electrochemical) characterisation. The scholarship provides financial support for domestic PhD students to pursue research in nanostructured lithium-ion batteries within the School of Chemistry.
