About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research into the study of the role of immunity in the pathogenesis of childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time research students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is funded by the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (Kids Research, The Children's Hospital at Westmead). Recipients will conduct research focused on understanding immune mechanisms in childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. The scholarship supports students for up to 3.5 years of their PhD candidature, subject to satisfactory academic performance and progression through annual evaluations.
