About this opportunity
This competitive Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in physiology and/or nursing and/or cardiovascular disease secondary prevention. The scholarship is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). The research will focus on three key areas: thermal and cardiovascular physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and co-design. Research will be predominantly conducted working with older adults and people with cardiovascular disease. The Scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time doctoral research at the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
