About this opportunity
This scholarship provides financial assistance to a higher degree research student who will complete a research project on the topic of opioid use in Indonesia and issues associated with government regulation, policing, and harm reduction. The project will focus on policy developments since 2014 and the political context that has developed during the Joko Widodo presidency. The scholarship is supported by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) at the University of Sydney. The recipient will conduct research with Dr Elisabeth Kramer and Professor Simon Butt within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or the University of Sydney Law School. Applicants must have good proficiency in Indonesian language with a minimum requirement of intermediate-level reading and speaking skills.
