About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in nature of time biases, temporal preferences, and temporal attitudes. The scope of this project may include research into the nature of temporal preferences and temporal attitudes and may include one or both of empirical investigation into these preferences and the conditions under which people display them, as well as investigation of the normative status of these preferences. This scholarship is part of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Projects grant titled 'Making Better Decisions: An Investigation of Time-Biases'. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time doctoral research in philosophy within the School of Humanities, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney.
