About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a research student to undertake research for a PhD in political science as part of ARC Discovery Project 230101777 Mapping & Harnessing Public Mistrust: Constitutional Values Survey 2023-27. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time PhD research focusing on quantitative research into trust and distrust in Australian democratic institutions and processes. This scholarship is funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project and by a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences top-up award. The successful candidate will work within the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Sydney, conducting research that contributes to understanding public mistrust and constitutional values in Australia.
