About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in unravelling genomic complexities impacting prostate cancer health disparities and tumour evolution. The scholarship supports computational-based research in structural rearrangements and genomic complexities affecting prostate cancer. The Scholarship is funded by the US Department of Defence (USA) and provides a stipend allowance to support full-time PhD students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will work on research that addresses critical questions about prostate tumour genomic complexity, with a focus on health disparities and tumour evolution. Recipients must be domestic students willing to conduct computational-based research in this specific area.
