About this opportunity

This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a Masters by Research or PhD student who is undertaking research in screening for type 1 diabetes in Indigenous communities. The scholarship is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and is offered through the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to support full-time research students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons. Recipients will conduct research focused on screening for type 1 diabetes in Indigenous communities, contributing to important health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
