About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to support a PhD research student within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney to undertake research in polymer synthesis and composite fabrication. The scholarship is funded by the University of Sydney DVC Research contribution for the Australian Research Council (ARC) project 'Self-adhesive Conductive Polymer Composites for Long-term Skin Electrodes' (LP240200715). The Scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate per annum for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Applicants must hold either an Honours degree (First Class or Second Class Upper) or Master's degree with a substantial research component or equivalent in Science, Chemical Engineering or any related field. The successful applicant will be selected based on academic merit, curriculum vitae with previous research experience, area of study and/or research proposal, and a personal statement on how the applicant's background will contribute to the project.
