About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in how sleep influences pain, function, and recovery in people living with chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) pain conditions such as osteoarthritis and low back pain. The scholarship is funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care (Federal) and administered through the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will conduct full-time research investigating the relationship between sleep and chronic pain conditions, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support for doctoral research over a period of up to 3.5 years, including a competitive annual stipend and standard leave entitlements.
