About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to research students who are undertaking research in digital mapping to support on-farm management. The research aims to generate fine resolution soil information to assist agronomic decisions for a farm to meet its productivity and sustainability challenges. The Scholarship is funded by Commonwealth of Australia represented by Department of Industry, Science and Resources as part of the project 'An integrated schema for soil carbon stock estimation and crediting'. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance of $41,753 for up to 11 months to support PhD research within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
