About this opportunity
A postgraduate research scholarship providing financial assistance to one PhD student undertaking research on systems biology and metabolism. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance of $32,192 per annum for up to 3.5 years for a PhD student within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. This scholarship is funded by an ARC Australian Laureate Fellowship of Professor David James and aims to support students conducting research in systems biology and metabolic research. Recipients are encouraged to complete their PhD in 3 years but may apply for an extension of up to 6 months. The scholarship provides stipend support equivalent to the minimum Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate, indexed annually.
