About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a research student to conduct a project evaluating the impact of digital interventions to minimise gambling-related harms. The student will be based within the Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic, School of Psychology and the multidisciplinary Brain and Mind Centre. The Scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate per annum for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The successful applicant must undertake research in the field of gambling harm minimisation, specifically examining the use and impact of digital tools to reduce gambling harms. This Scholarship is co-funded by Research Gambling Funds and research funds from Professor Alex Blaszczynski from School of Psychology, Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
