About this opportunity
This Scholarship provides financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research into an in vivo approach to elucidate the pathobiology of PD-associated genes using human diseased neurons. The scholarship is awarded in whole or in part by Aligning Science Across Parkinson's Grant ID: ASAP-000497 and Grant ID: MJFF-020649 sponsored by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF). The successful applicant will conduct research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney and will be selected on the basis of academic merit, a cover letter detailing their interest in the subject area, and two academic referees. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance that increases annually over the three-year duration of the award.
