About this opportunity
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research to advance our understanding of the relationship between 24-hour movement behaviours and noncommunicable disease risk. The scholarship is designed for students conducting research in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney, with a focus on the physical behaviour spectrum and its impact on cancer and cardiovascular disease prevention. The scholarship is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and provides comprehensive stipend support for up to 3.5 years of full-time doctoral study. Recipients will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of noncommunicable disease prevention, exploring the relationships between movement behaviours throughout the 24-hour cycle and health outcomes.
