Postgraduate Research Scholarship in World Literature and/or Australian Literature

This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to Masters by Research or PhD students who are undertaking research in world literature and/or Australian literature. The research should ideally focus on areas connected to island aesthetics, incarceration, and relationality. The scholarship is funded by Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) supported through the Australian Research Council and topped up with funds from the University of Sydney's Research Portfolio. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate, subject to satisfactory academic performance, for up to 1.75 years for master's by research recipients or up to 3 years for PhD recipients.
