About this opportunity
This scholarship is for an outstanding PhD scholar to conduct research into cardiovascular disease as part of a joint project between the University of Sydney and Bayer Australia. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance of $40,000 per annum for three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance, along with project expenses of $20,000 per annum. This unique opportunity is funded by NSW Health as part of the NSW Health PhD Partnership Program. The successful recipient must be willing to conduct research into cardiovascular disease and hold an undergraduate degree with at least a credit average or equivalent, and either an honours degree (first class or second class upper) or master's by research degree in a relevant discipline. The scholarship recipient must acknowledge NSW Health, the University of Sydney and Bayer Australia in their thesis or any publications or presentations arising from the research funded by this scholarship.
